Held on the 31st at Yecheon Stadium, with participation from both private and public social workers Featuring matches such as soccer, cooperative ball bouncing, and unique relay races to strengthen friendship and a sense of community

Gyeongsangbuk-do held the "18th Gyeongsangbuk-do Social Workers Athletic Competition" on the 31st at Yecheon Stadium, with approximately 1,800 private and public social workers from across the province in attendance.

The social workers' athletic competition, which began in 2007, is held annually. It serves as a festival of harmony to foster friendship and bonds among members, enhance a sense of community, and promote the development of the welfare field.

This year's athletic competition consisted of various events, including soccer, cooperative ball bouncing, and unique relay races. It provided a warm moment of respite for social workers who firmly support the lives of provincial residents, serving as an opportunity to further invigorate the power of welfare.

Kim Ho-seob, Director of the Welfare and Health Bureau of Gyeongsangbuk-do, stated, "I hope today's athletic competition becomes a precious time to relieve accumulated fatigue and stress, while strengthening a sense of belonging and camaraderie among one another."

He continued, "I express my gratitude for your roles and hard work in connecting policies and the field most closely, and I hope you will always maintain your pride and sense of mission as you keep up your strength at the forefront of welfare."
