Online sales running until November 30 … Plans to expand regional themed gourmet passes in the future

The Gyeongbuk Culture & Tourism Organization (President Kim Nam-il, hereinafter referred to as the "Organization") announced the launch of the "Gyeongju Noodle Pass," a new culinary tourism product linking Gyeongju's unique noodle dishes with its representative tourist attraction, and stated that online sales will run through November 30.
The "Gyeongju Noodle Pass" combines signature menus from Gyeongju's noodle specialty restaurants with admission tickets to "Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond," a must-visit night view attraction in Gyeongju. Offered at a discount of up to 37% off regular prices, the complex tourism product was designed to ease travel expenses for visitors while promoting coexistence with local small business owners and vitalizing tourism consumption.
Five representative Gyeongju noodle specialty restaurants are participating in this product: △Gungnim Bajirak Kalguksu (Clam Knife Cut Noodles), △Gyochon Sambongnyeonjip, △Bomun Milmyeon (Wheat Noodles), △Cheommi, and △Kuu Dong. Depending on their preference, travelers can choose from a total of 10 package options by combining admission tickets to Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond with signature menus from 2 out of the 5 restaurants.
Products can be purchased through major online channels, including △KakaoTalk Shopping, △Coupang, △Gmarket, △Auction, △11st, △Yeogihere, △Gyeongbuk Travel Mall, △Tour054, and △Naver Smart Store. Upon payment completion, a mobile ticket is sent via KakaoTalk, allowing users to simply present it on-site for use. Detailed compositions and usage guidelines can be found on the product detail pages of each sales platform.

In addition, following a pilot operation centered around the 5 participating businesses, the Organization plans to gradually expand partner restaurants through food tastings and its own selection criteria.
Gyeongbuk Culture & Tourism Organization President Kim Nam-il stated, "The Gyeongju Noodle Pass is an experiential product that provides tangible travel benefits by combining the region's unique culinary resources with core tourism contents," adding, "Moving forward, we plan to sequentially introduce gourmet tourism products carrying the distinct colors of Gyeongju’s regions, such as the East Coast Railway-linked Rail Cafe Pass, Sea Food Pass, Traditional Market Old Restaurant Pass, and Andong Raw Beef Ribs Pass." He also noted, "We ask for your great interest and support for the '2026 K-Silk Road Food Festival - Noodle Festa,' which will be held around the Gyeongju APEC Commemorative Park from November 14 to 15."
Meanwhile, the Organization launched the "Gyeongju Art Pass" last year—which allows visitors to view four major cultural and arts facilities in downtown Gyeongju with a single ticket—to great popularity. The Gyeongju Art Pass is also on sale through November 30. By combining the two products, visitors can enjoy a rich autumn trip that encompasses both Gyeongju's gastronomy and culture and arts all at once.
