“Buyeo in November, Complete it with Your Video!” Selecting a total of 17 pieces with 7 million won in prizes

Chungcheongnam-do Buyeo County announced that it is accepting entries for the short-form content contest 「How is Buyeo This November?」, designed to capture the charm of Buyeo through the fresh perspectives and senses of the public.

This contest was prepared to promote various festivals, events, autumn tourist spots, and local specialties unfolding in Buyeo this November in a more friendly and entertaining way, while providing anyone in the public with an opportunity to express Buyeo’s charm through their own unique perspective.

In particular, the recruitment centers around creative short-form content planned, filmed, and produced directly by participants. Participation is open without genre restrictions, including artificial intelligence (AI)-utilized videos, advertisements, parodies, challenges, music videos, vlogs, and webtoons.

The contest is open to all citizens, and entries can be submitted individually or as a team. The contest theme is a "free theme that can express the charm of Buyeo," allowing participants to freely utilize various materials related to Buyeo, such as the county’s policies, tourism, culture, and festivals, as well as local specialties and the mascot 'Geumdongi'.

Submitted videos must be produced as short-form videos ranging from 30 seconds to under 1 minute and 30 seconds. The video specifications must be vertical videos of 1,080×1,920 pixels (FHD) or higher, or horizontal videos of 1,920×1,080 pixels (FHD) or higher, in file formats such as MP4 that can be uploaded to YouTube.

Through this contest, the county will select a total of 17 winning works and award a total of 7 million won in prize money. The award details are as follows: ▲Grand Prize (1 work): 1.5 million won ▲Excellence Prize (3 works): 1 million won each ▲Encouragement Prize (3 works): 500,000 won each ▲Selection (10 works): 100,000 won each.

The deadline for submission is until 6:00 PM on November 30 (Monday), and the final winners are scheduled to be announced in December after internal evaluations. The evaluation criteria comprehensively assess theme appropriateness, creativity, video completion, public appeal, and promotional/utilization value. Afterwards, final winners will be determined through a secondary evaluation utilizing official SNS voting and YouTube view counts.

An official from Buyeo County stated, “Buyeo in November is full of various sights and things to enjoy along with the atmosphere of autumn. Through this contest, we want to discover new charms of Buyeo through the diverse and fresh perspectives of the public.” They added, “We are looking forward to your own stories of Buyeo captured in short videos, so we ask for your great interest and participation.”

Meanwhile, Buyeo County plans to strengthen the promotion of Buyeo's tourism, culture, festivals, and local specialties by utilizing the outstanding content discovered through this contest across various promotional channels, including the official Buyeo County SNS.
