Although he is not the highest-ranking official like the chief prosecutor in Korea, he holds in one hand the authority to make investigative decisions on all cases that occur in Zarino City and exercises enormous authority.
22 years after immigrating, they have achieved the ‘Brazilian dream’ by firmly taking root in the local society. As a next-generation Korean leader, he returned to his home country to attend the 2011 World Korean Next Generation Conference, which opened on the 4th and hosted by the Overseas Koreans Foundation, and said, "I developed my dream of becoming a prosecutor after seeing Koreans being discriminated against and treated unfairly in Brazilian society." . He earned a master's degree in law from the Catholic University of Sao Paulo in 2002, and was proudly appointed as a prosecutor the following year, overcoming a competition rate of 90 to 1. For the next six years, he traveled to various cities in the state of Sao Paulo, visiting crime scenes, and was appointed chief prosecutor of Zarino City in 2009.
She said, "Cases keep popping up, and since I'm the only prosecutor, we're going to trial multiple times a day," and added, "These days, it's mostly drug and robbery cases."
She said, "There were often dangerous situations that came close to gunfights with criminals," and "the most memorable case was arresting a violent criminal who kidnapped, raped, and murdered six women and sent him to prison for 112 years."
She said, "I felt threatened for my life while running to the crime scene, but I have never been afraid of criminals, and I run hard because it is someone's job to do." “It’s fortunate that I didn’t take on the case that I committed,” he said.
She gave a presentation on the topic 'The role and vision of the next generation Korean leader for Global Korea' at the Next Generation Forum, which is held as part of the World Korean Next Generation Conference program.
She said, "As I entered downtown Seoul from Incheon International Airport and as I walked around Seoul, I felt overwhelmed by the development of my home country, and tears poured down my throat." “I will raise my pride,” she said.
