From September 23 to 29, 2025, the Colombian brand Clama is set to participate for the first time in Milan Fashion Week, held in the heart of Italian fashion. Led by designer Claudia Isaza and her daughter Manuela Herrera, Clama will showcase its Spring/Summer collection titled ‘Raices del Alma’ (Roots of the Soul), aiming to make a lasting impression on the global fashion scene with Colombia's unique identity.

‘Roots of the Soul’: Embracing Colombia’s Nature and Culture

The ‘Roots of the Soul’ collection is an homage to Colombia's identity, the memories of its ancestors, and its rich natural environment. Inspired by the beautiful Colombian landscapes, the wisdom of indigenous communities, and a deep connection to the earth, the collection is a harmonious blend of tradition, nature, and modernity.

The collection's color palette is composed of earthy tones, the green of the jungle, the blue of the rivers, and the golden hues that symbolize the Colombian sun. These are complemented by handcrafted textiles, artisanal embroidery, and delicate crystal embellishments, all capturing Colombia's diversity and vitality. Additionally, patterns of Colombian flora and fauna, figures from indigenous myths, and elements that express the spirit of the Latin woman are woven into each garment. Every piece of clothing becomes a narrative, speaking of resilience, femininity, and cultural pride.

Claudia Isaza commented, “This collection is my love letter to Colombia. It reflects both the inner and outer landscapes that shaped me.” She added that her debut was made possible through collaborations with other Colombian footwear and accessory brands.

Clama: A Brand Born from Healing and a Cry of the Soul

Clama was born in 2023 out of Claudia Isaza’s personal journey of healing and emotional transformation. While the brand is based in Cali, its roots are in Tuluá, the hometown of both her and her daughter. The brand name, derived from the names CLAudia and MAnuela, is also a nod to the Spanish verb ‘clamar’ (to cry out), symbolizing the spiritual calling that gave birth to the brand.

Clama is renowned for its fusion of Colombian artisanal techniques with modern silhouettes. It features handcrafted embroidery, crystals, and details imbued with craftsmanship that highlights Colombia’s rich flora, fauna, and cultural diversity. More than just a fashion proposition, Clama stands for resilience, femininity, and authenticity. It aims to create an emotional and spiritual connection through clothes that are worn "from the soul." Clama's entry into Milan Fashion Week is more than just a fashion show; it's a significant step toward introducing Colombia's rich cultural heritage to the world.
