From Seoul: Express buses run from various terminals (e.g., Gangnam Express Bus Terminal) to Jeomchon Bus Terminal.
From other major cities: Check bus or train schedules to Jeomchon Station (Jeomchon-eup).

Taxi (Recommended): The most convenient option. Simply show the Korean address (경상북도 문경시 사격장길 155) to the driver. The ride is relatively short and affordable.
Local Bus: Limited local bus routes may service the area. Ask at the Jeomchon Bus Terminal or your accommodation for the most up-to-date local bus information heading toward the shooting range area.

Beyond the Target: Nearby Attractions

Make your trip to Mungyeong-si a full day of adventure by exploring the spectacular sights just minutes away from the shooting range. Mungyeong is a city rich in history, natural beauty, and unique leisure sports.

Mungyeongsaejae Provincial Park: An absolute must-see. This historic mountain pass was once a crucial gateway on the Great Yeongnam Road connecting Seoul and Busan. Explore the famous three historic gateways and walk the beautiful old road, which is also home to the Mungyeongsaejae KBS Drama Studio, the largest historical filming set in Korea, often featured in popular K-Dramas and historical movies (like the Netflix hit Kingdom).
Mungyeong Rail Bike: For a relaxing, scenic experience, hop onto a rail bike! Pedal along old railway tracks through tunnels and picturesque countryside, offering a unique perspective of Mungyeong’s natural charm.
Mungyeong Dansan Monorail & Hwalgong Land: For more thrills, take a ride on the monorail up Dansan Mountain to Hwalgong Land, a popular paragliding site. The monorail ride itself offers breathtaking views of the Baekdudaegan mountain range, and you can even try a tandem paragliding jump for an unforgettable aerial view!
Mungyeong Omija Theme Tunnel: A quirky, fun spot to explore a tunnel dedicated to the local specialty, Omija (Schizandra berry) wine and products.
Combining the exhilarating sports of shooting with the serene hiking trails and historical sites, Mungyeong-si offers a diverse travel experience that caters to all interests. Pack your bags, practice your aim, and get ready for an adventure in the heart of Gyeongsangbuk-do!
