Incheon, South Korea – Incheon City has introduced a new 24-hour AI chatbot service, "Incheon Talk Talk," designed to provide citizens with convenient access to city information and services. The chatbot, which was launched on January 13, offers real-time responses to a wide range of inquiries.
Developed using existing city data, Incheon Talk Talk covers seven major categories including transportation, welfare, and complaints. The AI chatbot can currently answer 221 different questions, and its database is continually updated based on the most frequently asked queries by citizens.
"We analyzed the top 50 most common inquiries received by our call center to create a chatbot that addresses the needs of our citizens," said Choi Min-hee, Director of Information and Communication at Incheon City. "By providing easy access to information through mobile devices, we aim to improve the quality of our services and enhance citizen satisfaction."
To use the service, citizens simply need to add "Incheon City Website" as a friend on the KakaoTalk messaging app. The chatbot's user-friendly interface allows for quick and easy navigation.
In addition to answering specific questions, Incheon Talk Talk also provides links to useful city resources such as event calendars, online reservation systems, and citizen participation platforms.
"The development of Incheon Talk Talk is a significant milestone for our city," said Mayor Yoo Jung-bok. "By leveraging technology, we can provide more efficient and effective services to our citizens."
The city plans to continue refining the chatbot's capabilities by incorporating feedback from users and expanding its knowledge base. With Incheon Talk Talk, Incheon City is taking a significant step towards becoming a more citizen-centric and technologically advanced city.
