LG H&H Expands Japanese Footprint: Vegan Brand 'Freshian' Debuts at Biople by CosmeKitchen

SEOUL — LG Household & Health Care (LG H&H) announced on March 6, 2026, that its high-performance vegan beauty brand, Freshian, will officially launch at the Japanese lifestyle select shop Biople by CosmeKitchen on March 12.

This strategic move follows Freshian’s successful entry into CosmeKitchen, Japan’s premier natural and organic beauty channel. By securing a spot in Biople, which extends beyond cosmetics into holistic wellness and sustainable lifestyles, LG H&H aims to solidify Freshian’s position as a leading K-Vegan brand in the competitive Japanese market.

Tapping into the "Compact" Trend
Coinciding with the Biople launch, Freshian is introducing a market-specific innovation: the Egg Like Cushion Mini.

This new offering is a travel-sized version of the brand’s flagship product, designed specifically to cater to the Japanese consumer preference for portability and "on-the-go" touch-ups. Key features of the product include:

-High Hydration: Formulated with 75% water essence, providing a refreshing and glowing finish.
-Certified Vegan: Adheres to strict cruelty-free and vegan standards, aligning with the ethical consumption trends rising among Gen Z and Millennial shoppers in Japan.
-Ergonomic Design: A compact form factor that fits easily into small pouches or pockets, emphasizing convenience without compromising quality.

Strategic Significance of the Partnership
The expansion into Biople by CosmeKitchen is more than just a retail listing; it represents a deepening of LG H&H’s localized strategy. While CosmeKitchen focuses heavily on specialized organic beauty, Biople caters to a broader audience interested in "Inner Beauty" and sustainable living.

"Japan’s beauty market is undergoing a shift toward conscious consumption," an industry analyst noted.
