Domino’s Korea Embraces "Authentic Stateside Flavors" with New American Classic Pizza Duo

SEOUL – Domino’s Pizza Korea announced on March 6, 2026, the launch of its "American Classic Pizza" line, featuring two new menu items designed to capture the bold, traditional essence of U.S. cuisine. The new additions—the Grilled Patty Cheeseburger Pizza and the Double Meat Jalapeño Pizza—aim to satisfy a growing consumer demand for "back-to-basics" comfort food with a premium twist.

A Tale of Two Classics: Meat, Smoke, and Spice
The Grilled Patty Cheeseburger Pizza is a direct homage to the iconic American diner staple. By utilizing a specialized American Classic Cheeseburger Sauce and flame-grilled patties, the pizza delivers a "sweet and salty" profile complemented by a distinct smoky aroma. Domino’s developers noted that the goal was to replicate the juicy, charcoal-grilled experience of a thick burger in a pizza format.

In contrast, the Double Meat Jalapeño Pizza targets fans of savory, spicy combinations. It features a heavy topping of shredded ham and Italian pepper sausage. To balance the richness of the double meat portions, sliced jalapeños are added to provide a crisp, clean heat that cuts through the savory fats of the deli meats.

Catering to Diverse Lifestyles
Recognizing the shift in South Korean demographics toward smaller households, Domino’s has ensured these flavors are accessible in multiple formats.

-Half-and-Half Options: Customers can combine both new flavors into a single pizza, a move specifically designed for 1-2 person households wanting variety without ordering multiple pies.
-Pricing Structure: * Single Flavor: Large (L) 29,900 KRW / Medium (M) 22,500 KRW.

-Half-and-Half: Large (L) 30,900 KRW / Medium (M) 23,500 KRW.
To incentivize digital engagement, members using the official Domino’s app can receive a 20% discount on delivery orders.

Sweet Deals for White Day
In addition to the main menu launch, Domino’s is rolling out a seasonal promotion timed for White Day (a popular romantic holiday in Korea on March 14). Through March 15, customers who purchase either of the American Classic pizzas or any pizza with a "Double Crust" dough upgrade are eligible for significant discounts on side dishes.

The "Heart-Themed" Promotion: To celebrate the season of love, "Heart Potatoes" and "Heart & Crunch Chicken" are available at 50% off. Furthermore, the brand’s newest side additions—Spicy Chicken Wings and Double Meat Jalapeño Pasta—are also included in the half-price promotion under the same conditions.

Strategic Outlook: The "Authentic" Trend
The launch of the American Classic series reflects a broader trend in the Korean F&B industry where consumers are moving away from overly "fusion" concepts in favor of authentic, origin-focused flavors. By leaning into the "American" identity, Domino's Korea is positioning itself as the go-to provider for traditional soul food, leveraging its global heritage to maintain market leadership in an increasingly competitive delivery landscape.

With the combination of nostalgic burger flavors, spicy meat toppings, and aggressive holiday marketing, Domino’s looks to capture both the family dinner market and the younger, solo-dining demographic this spring.
