Operation of cultural experiences from 6 countries including Japan, Vietnam, and Mexico, alongside an independence activist booth

The Cheonan City Seongjeong Youth Culture Center, under the Cheonan City Youth Foundation, operated the multicultural experience program "Star Playground - A Star Village Where the World Gathers" for youth at the culture center on the 31st of last month.

This event was designed to allow youth to directly experience the cultures of various countries around the world. On-site, programs highlighting the unique characteristics of each country were conducted, including Japanese cultural experiences, making Halloween masks, making Mexican maracas, making Vietnamese conical hats, making Russian Matryoshka dolls, and experiencing traditional Korean Hanji (Korean paper).

In addition, various participation spaces such as an independence activist awareness booth, a flea market, and food booths were provided. Notably, institutions affiliated with the Cheonan City Youth Foundation participated in linkage for the Russian Matryoshka doll making, independence activist awareness, and flea market booths, adding deeper meaning to the event.

Ahn Hyo-jin, Director of the Cheonan City Seongjeong Youth Culture Center, stated, "I hope this event served as an opportunity for youth to joyfully experience the cultures of various countries around the world," and added, "We will continue to persistently operate a variety of experiential programs in the future."
