Hosting the "3rd These Days, Korea Tourism Data Seminar" on November 26
2027 Tourism Trend Keywords to Be Unveiled Ahead of Time at the Seminar

The Korea Tourism Organization (President Park Sung-hyuk, hereinafter referred to as the "KTO") announced that it is accepting applications for participation in the "3rd These Days, Korea Tourism Data Seminar" until the 12th.

Scheduled for November 26 at the COEX ASEM Ballroom, the first session of this seminar focuses on "K-Medical Tourism." Through comprehensive tourism big data analysis, it will examine the key characteristics, mobility, and consumption behavior of foreign medical tourists, while introducing successful medical tourism marketing cases pursued by the KTO based on these insights. Following this, a panel discussion featuring medical tourism experts will examine the growth opportunities and challenges facing K-medical tourism, discussing public-private cooperation plans to vitalize medical tourism.

In the second session, tourism companies that have achieved outstanding results by utilizing the "Korea Tourism Data Lab" will share their cases. In addition, newly added data sets and expanded service features of the "Korea Tourism Data Lab" will be unveiled.

In the final session, a presentation will be held under the theme of "Outlook on 2027 Korea Tourism Trends." By analyzing tourism data, it will examine changing domestic travel demand and consumer behavior, presenting new travel trends that the tourism industry and local governments should pay attention to as key keywords.

Anyone interested in tourism and data can participate in this seminar. Participation application and detailed information can be found on the "Korea Tourism Data Lab" website.

Kim Young-mi, Head of the Tourism AI Innovation Division at the KTO, stated, "To enhance the competitiveness of the tourism industry, it is crucial to accurately understand market changes through data and connect them to practical results in the field," adding, "We expect this seminar to serve as an opportunity to explore new growth opportunities for K-medical tourism and share experiences in utilizing tourism big data and insights into the future tourism market."
