Chungcheongnam-do announced on the 6th that it successfully concluded the "2026 Vietnam Business Matching Day," held in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to expand export channels and support the entry of local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) into the Vietnamese market.

The event, co-hosted by the province, the Chungnam Agency for Business Startup and Growth, and Daejeon TJB, took place in Ho Chi Minh City on the 3rd and in Hanoi on the 5th, respectively. A total of 34 promising export SMEs from the province participated, including 15 companies in the consumer goods sector and 19 companies in the industrial goods sector.

In addition to 1-on-1 customized export consultations with local buyers, the province focused on raising the potential for actual transactions by conducting on-site consultations (outbound visits) where companies directly visited buyers' factories and offices.

Furthermore, the province supported product promotional activities utilizing local mobile promotional networks such as TikTok. During the consultation sessions, a variety of products drew the attention of local buyers, ranging from consumer goods such as seasoned laver, red ginseng, soybean paste soup cubes, and functional cosmetics to industrial goods such as eco-friendly organic agricultural materials and construction materials.

As a result of the consultation sessions, Ho Chi Minh City recorded a total of 163 export consultation sessions worth $37.72 million and export agreements totaling $24 cases worth $13.11 million. Hanoi also achieved a total of 190 export consultation sessions worth $30.80 million and concluded export agreements totaling 24 cases worth $10.62 million.

In particular, Alus Co., Ltd., based in Cheonan (manufacturer of aluminum automobile parts), signed an export memorandum of understanding (MOU) worth $2.5 million through this matching day, while Green Fertilizer from Hongseong County achieved on-site consultation results worth $400,000.
