SEOUL — Sejong City is currently highlighting the exceptional quality and potential of its local agri-food products at the 2026 Food Week Korea (the 21st Seoul International Food Industry Exhibition), which runs for four days from November 4 to 7 at COEX, Seoul.

Recognized as South Korea’s largest comprehensive food trade show, Food Week Korea 2026 brings together the latest trends in the global food industry. The exhibition features a wide spectrum of sectors, ranging from premium foods and alternative or novel foods to food manufacturing automation, smart logistics, and farm technology.

To represent the region, the Sejong Agricultural Technology Center selected three standout local enterprises to participate in the exhibition:

Maison Sabatie Co., Ltd.: This local maker crafts traditional alcoholic beverages using Saetcheongmu rice harvested in Sejong alongside self-cultured yeast (nuruk). By avoiding artificial additives, the company emphasizes the authentic, natural flavors of its brews.
Gujeuk Brewery: Boasting a four-generation brewing heritage, this historic brewery recently introduced an innovative distilled liquor fermented meticulously with Sejong's signature local specialty—fresh peaches.
Hyeonjeong: Specializing in delightful, sweet snacks, this enterprise utilizes local Jochiwon peach juice and powder to create popular treats such as chewy snacks and "Peach Pop" confections.
Pyock Ja, Director of the Sejong Agricultural Technology Center, expressed high expectations for the event: "We hope this exhibition serves as a vital stepping stone for our outstanding local food processors to showcase their competitiveness, expand their market reach, and discover new distribution channels. We remain committed to continuously nurturing the agri-food industry in close connection with local agriculture while providing diverse forms of support."
