A heartwarming story has emerged from Sabuk Middle School in Jeongseon, where a 15-year-old student studying traditional Korean music (gugak) penned a touching letter to Gangwon Province Superintendent of Education, Shin Kyung-ho. The student, identified as Shin Jung-in, expressed deep gratitude for the educational environment that allowed her to nurture her dreams.
In the letter, which was delivered to Superintendent Shin on February 14th, Shin Jung-in wrote, "While studying arts in Gangwon Province, I discovered my potential and solidified my dreams. I believe all of this is thanks to the educational environment that you, Superintendent Shin, have created, where students can discover and develop their talents."
The letter, which began with "To Superintendent Shin Kyung-ho of Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province," introduced the student as "Shin Jung-in, a third-year student at Sabuk Middle School who is studying gugak and nurturing my dreams." She explained that she wanted to express her gratitude as the new year began.
Shin Jung-in shared that she had been able to discover her potential and solidify her dreams while studying arts in Gangwon Province. She highlighted her gold medal win at the Gangwon Student Arts Festival last year, which gave her further confidence in her chosen path.
