- The Boram-dong and Merchants Association "Boram N Busking" to be held on the 16th, 23rd, and 30th through a collaborative effort.

Sejong Special Self-Governing City's Boram-dong (Dong Chief Kim Jung-ah), in partnership with the Boram-dong Merchants Association (President Kim Jong-kwon), will host the opening performance of the "2026 Boram N Busking" on the 16th at the Boram-dong Circular Square (752 Boram-dong).

This event was prepared as part of the Boram-dong resident-proposed project to provide residents with opportunities to enjoy culture and arts in their daily lives and to breathe new vitality into the local commercial district.

Boram-dong, the Boram-dong Residents' Representative Council, and the Boram-dong Merchants Association signed a business agreement last August to jointly promote residents' cultural life and revitalize the local commercial district.

At the opening performance under the theme of "Guitar Night," jazz guitarist Kim Hong-seok, acoustic singer-songwriter Racco, fingerstyle guitarist Kim Na-rin, and popular singer Lee-won will appear to showcase a variety of musical genres.

A receipt event for shopping districts will also be held to vitalize the local economy.

Visitors who make purchases totaling 50,000 won or more at Boram-dong shopping districts and present three or more paper receipts will be given a 10,000 won equivalent coupon usable in the local commercial district on a first-come, first-served basis.

The "2026 Boram N Busking" will continue for two more sessions under the themes of "Culture Night" on the 23rd and "Performance Night" on the 30th.

The performances will take place every Friday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Boram-dong Circular Square, and any resident is free to attend and enjoy.

The receipt event is scheduled to operate in the same manner during this period.

Boram-dong Chief Kim Jung-ah said, "I hope this performance brings a small joy and relaxation to residents' daily lives," adding, "We will continue to cooperate with the local commercial district to expand opportunities for residents to enjoy various arts and culture close to home."
