Geumsan-gun Youth Center "Cheongnyeon-itsam" holds daily support program for young adults

The Chungnam Youth Center announced that it held a craft beer making program on October 1 and 8 at the Geumsan-gun Youth Center "Cheongnyeon-itsam" as part of the "2026 Chungnam Youth Growth Project."

This program was designed as a daily support service to help young adults relieve emotional stress experienced during the job preparation process and regain vitality in their daily lives. The education was divided into two stages: brewing and bottling.

In Stage 1, held on October 1, participants learned about the types and history of beer, brewed two types of beer (IPA and Lager), and allowed them to ferment for a week.

Following this, Stage 2 on October 8 concluded the program by utilizing the fermented beer to finish the craft beer and sharing impressions of the process.

Kang Hyun-jung, head of the Chungnam Youth Center, stated, "We hope this program provided young adults with a time to temporarily set aside the stress of job preparation, make beer together, and find joy in their daily lives. We will continue to support the daily recovery and social participation of young adults through programs reflecting regional characteristics and youth interests."

The Youth Growth Project, supported by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and Chungcheongnam-do, is an initiative that helps young people recover their daily lives, enhance their motivation to seek employment, and supports their entry into the labor market. Currently, the Geumsan regional Youth Growth Project programs are being operated at the Geumsan-gun Youth Center "Cheongnyeon-itsam," which opened on August 29.

Young adults in the province wishing to participate in the 2026 Chungnam Youth Growth Project can contact the Chungnam Youth Center at 041-635-1277.
