‘2024 Korea Sale Festa (Kosepe)’, the largest shopping event in Korea, will be held for a total of 22 days from the 9th to the 30th of this month. Discounts worth millions of won are provided when purchasing electric vehicles such as Porter EV and Kona EV.

According to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy on the 1st, more than 2,600 distribution, manufacturing, and service companies participated in this year's Kosepe, the largest ever.

The online and offline distribution industry has been promoting large-scale discount events since early this month in response to overseas discount events such as Singles' Day and Black Friday.

Representative examples include Shinsegae ‘Sseok Day’ (November 1-10), Lotte ‘Thank You Day’ (October 31-November 13), and Super L Day (October 28-November 6). . Large supermarkets and semi-large stores offer discounts focusing on seasonal fruits and vegetables and winter season products, and offer intensive discounts on kimchi ingredients to mark the kimchi season.

In addition to the regular winter sale starting on the 15th, the department store is preparing giveaways, special offers at popular food stores, pop-up stores, and cultural events. Online platforms such as SSG.com (SSG.com), G Market, Lotte Shopping e-commerce, 11th Street, Coupang, Naver, H Mall (hmall), public shopping malls, and Today's House, Market Kurly, and Baedal Minjok also offer additional discounts on products sold. Supports.

The automobile industry, where domestic sales are sluggish, has increased discount rates, focusing on national car models and eco-friendly cars. Hyundai Motor Company expanded the number of discounted models to 24 compared to last year. These include Sonata (up to 2 million won), Santa Fe (up to 2 million won), Porter EV (up to 5 million won), Kona EV (up to 4 million won), and Pavis (up to 10 million won).

Kia also increased the number of discounted models to eight. Kia's new discounted models this year include Niro HEV (up to 3%) and K8 HEV (up to 7%). GM Korea sells its flagship models, such as the Traverse and Tahoe, at a discount rate of up to 15%, which is higher than last year. Renault Korea and KG Mobility also participate in the Cosepe discount.

Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics are offering discounts on 15 and 12 items, respectively. Samsung Electronics offers up to 5.59 million points for cumulative purchases, and LG Electronics offers up to 5.2 million cashbacks for cumulative purchases.

Convenience store discounts such as ‘1+1’ and ‘2+1’ are also available. Five convenience store companies (CU, GS25, 7-Eleven, E-Mart 24, CSPACE24) launched the ‘Kosepe National Lunch Box’, a cost-effective product priced between 4,000 and 6,000 won. Discounts such as ‘buy 1 get 1’ are available on various items, including Pepero Day discounts and discounts on alcoholic beverages, which are unique products at convenience stores.

For the first time in the food and beverage industry, we are pursuing a joint plan and conducting a time deal with Naver. If you wish to purchase instant rice, drinks, snacks, ramen, cooking oil, etc., search for ‘Naver Kosepe’ in the Naver search bar.
