Jeju Island's Hallasan National Park Offers Diverse Exploration Programs for 2025

Jeju Island, South Korea – The Hallasan National Park, managed by the Jeju Island World Heritage Center, has announced a diverse range of exploration programs for visitors to experience the natural, ecological, and cultural significance of Mount Hallasan. These programs will run from March to December 2025, offering unique opportunities to explore various aspects of the mountain.

A Variety of Programs for All Ages and Interests

The exploration programs cater to a wide range of interests and age groups, with activities taking place in various locations across the park, including Eorimok and Seongpanak trails.

Some of the featured programs include:

"Tales of Hallasan from the Heights": A program that delves into the stories and legends surrounding the mountain.
"Exploring Oreum with Traces of History: Eoseungsaengak": A guided tour exploring the historical significance of the Eoseungsaengak oreum (small volcanic cone).
"Summer Night, Eoseungsaengak Special Night Program": A unique nighttime experience offering stunning views of the sunset and nightscape from Eoseungsaengak peak.
"Hallasan in Four Seasons Program": A program showcasing the changing beauty of Hallasan throughout the year.
"Hallasan National Park Flagship Species Promotion Program": An educational program focusing on the park's representative species, the Gusang tree and the Hallasan mountain worm butterfly, allowing participants to observe them directly.
"Sarae on Rest: Commentary Program at Saraoreum, Seongpanak": A relaxing guided tour of the beautiful Saraoreum wetland.
"Strolling Along Hallasan Forest Trail: Kodag Kodag Hallasan Forest Road Walking": A leisurely walk through the scenic forest trails leading to Guringgul Cave.

Special Programs for Diverse Groups

The park also offers specialized programs for different groups, including:

"Together with You, Shining Today Too": A program designed for elderly and disabled visitors to experience the beauty of Hallasan.
"Tales of Hallasan Embracing Life": An environmental education program for children, teaching them about the importance of preserving the mountain's ecosystem.
"Hallasan Environment Playground for Rascals": An interactive and fun program for children to learn about environmental conservation.
"Children's Hallasan Experience School": A special program during the summer vacation for children to engage in various activities related to Hallasan's nature and culture.

New and Enhanced Programs for 2025

In addition to the existing programs, the Hallasan National Park is introducing new and enhanced experiences for 2025:

"Summer Night, Eoseungsaengak Special Night Program": This new program offers visitors the chance to witness the breathtaking sunset and panoramic night view from the summit of Eoseungsaengak.
"Hallasan Thoroughly!!": This enhanced program provides a detailed exploration of the Yeongsil Trail with a professional nature interpreter, offering insights into the unique geological features and plant life of the area.
