SEOUL, South Korea – November 14, 2024 – Anua, a global beauty brand operated by The Founders, has recorded the highest level of interest among major K-beauty brands in the toner category in the third quarter of this year.

Data & Research announced on November 14th that it had analyzed online information (number of postings = level of interest) about the domestic beauty industry from July to September across 12 channels, including news, communities, blogs, cafes, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, KakaoStory, knowledge Q&A, and corporate/organizational/government/public sites, covering 230,000 sites.

The brands included in the survey were randomly selected and ranked based on the amount of information: Anua, MediHeal, Laneige, COSRX, Bioderma, Skin1004, and Joseon.

The analysis keywords were limited to those with less than 15 characters in Korean, such as "brand name" + "toner," so the actual amount of information may vary.

Anua topped the chart with 975 online postings related to toners.

In August, a user on the online community "Sck" recommended "Anua Heartleaf 77 Soothing Toner," saying, "I've been a toner nomad, but after seeing a foreign influencer on TikTok recommend it, I tried it and have been satisfied ever since."

A user on a Naver cafe boasted about their loyalty to the brand, saying, "I might as well be an Anua fanatic," and shared photos of their Anua products.

In September, a Naver blogger, "kb6*9," posted a review titled "Anua Heartleaf Toner, Honest Review: Does it Really Work?" They shared, "I tried Anua Heartleaf Toner after seeing so much praise on YouTube and blogs. At first, I was half-expectant and half-doubtful," but concluded, "After a week of use, my skin has improved! The soothing effect was excellent, and my redness and blemishes noticeably decreased."

Another user on the Naver cafe "Culbl" wrote, "Anua Heartleaf 77 is so clean and refreshing. I'm using it for the second time because it calms down my troubles."

MediHeal ranked second with 707 related postings. Laneige came in third with 474 postings. COSRX followed with 295 postings, and Bioderma with 221. Skin1004 had 126 related postings, and Joseon had 25.

A representative from Data & Research said, "Anua has topped the consumer interest chart for toners for two consecutive years."
