OSAKA, JAPAN – Chungcheongnam-do Province actively promoted its diverse tourism offerings at the ‘K-Tourism Festa’ held in Osaka from May 13th to 16th. A representative from Chungcheongnam-do Province emphasized the strategic importance of the Japanese market, stating, "Japan shares close historical and cultural ties with Chungcheongnam-do, and it consistently ranks as the second-largest source of inbound tourists to Korea." The representative further articulated the province's objectives for participating in the K-Tourism Festa, noting, "Our involvement in this event provides a valuable platform to proactively promote customized content tailored to the preferences of Japanese tourists and to solidify the foundation for attracting an even greater number of visitors from Japan."
