[Global Economic Times] Osan City's team won the most gold medals among the 31 cities and counties in Gyeonggi-do, taking first place overall at the '18th Gyeonggi-do Sports Competition for the Disabled 2024 Seongnam' held in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do for two days from the 11th to the 12th. About 5,000 players and executives from 31 cities and counties in Gyeonggi-do participated in a total of 23 sports, including 19 sports sports such as gateball, basketball, and billiards, and 4 experiential sports, and competed for their skills in this competition. Led by Mayor Lee Kwon-jae) and Secretary-General Han Hyeon-gu as general manager, 13 sports (boccia, weightlifting, dance sports, e-sports, table tennis, bowling, park golf, swimming, taekwondo, indoor rowing, runner, soccer (futsal), yutnori) 130 100 executives and athletes participated and won 13 gold, 4 silver, and 5 bronze medals, achieving first place overall (the most gold medals won among 31 cities and counties).

By event, 1st place overall in boccia (1 gold in team event), 1st place in overall weightlifting (5 golds, 1 silver in individual event), 2nd place overall in dance sports (4 golds in individual event, 1 gold in team event (3-5 people), 7-9 gold in team event (7-9 people) 1) silver, and 3rd overall in e-sports (2 silver, 1 bronze) in individual table tennis, 3 individual medals (1 gold, 2 bronze) in table tennis, and 3 medals (2 gold, 1 bronze) in bowling. ), Park Golf won 1 bronze in the team event (two women), and 1 gold in swimming (women).
