IUM’s AI art exhibition ‘West of Eden’ is being held at Uncommon Gallery in Samseong-dong.

[GLOBAL ECONOMIC TIMES]  IUM's 9th solo exhibition, , which has been continuously exploring generative AI art in the field of contemporary art, opened on Thursday, October 24th and is being held at the Uncommon Gallery in Samseong-dong until Saturday, November 2nd. 

Sponsored and sponsored by global medical and beauty device company Jaysis Medical Co., Ltd., InnoRed Co., Ltd., an advertising company that swept the world's top three advertising festivals, biotechnology skincare brand Farmology, SI Entertainment, and Production River, this exhibition showcases the harmony of AI and humans. With the theme of humanistic imagination and spirituality, it presents a new artistic paradigm to visitors.

This exhibition, held with the support of Uncommon Gallery and AI Network, displays IUM's work, which visually interprets the ‘return to Eden’ through a seeker’s journey in the pink western desert of the N dimension. Eyoum's work, which explores human inner exploration and spiritual growth through collaboration with AI and presents the theme of 'Homo Spiritus' and the possibilities of future generations, provides various interpretations and impressions to visitors. I'm doing it.

During the exhibition period, visitors can not only view the works, but also participate in various free programs on the theme of combining AI and art. These programs are designed to help audiences increase their understanding of AI art and share artistic experiences.

A special opening reception will be held on Thursday, October 24, the first day of the exhibition. In the artist talk concert hosted by Minji Kim, an art communicator and current visiting professor at Kyonggi University, IUM directly shares his work and philosophy on AI art. In addition, the performance of Song Min-ji, a master of improvisational piano performance, is included, and visitors have the opportunity to have an in-depth conversation about the worldview of .

On Monday, October 28, an art salon will be held on the AI ​​artist community AIAC's YouTube live channel to share stories about the creation of works with creators of IUM AI ART. This is a place to explore the theme of in more depth, providing an opportunity to communicate in real time about the creative process and meaning of AI art.

On Wednesday, October 30th, a special lecture will be held to highlight AI art from a humanistic perspective. Along with the introduction of the curriculum of IUM AI ART, which aims for creation beyond technical creation, it will be a time to explore the possibilities and philosophy of AI art as an art genre.

On the last day, Saturday, November 2, a classical gala concert will be held combining classical music and AI art exhibition works. Several artists, including MC Yoo Jeong-hyeon of the Dream Life Classic team, baritone Kim Seung-hwan, crossover soprano Lim Ji-eun, and pianist Jo Young-hee, will appear, presenting a harmonious performance by generative AI and human artists. In particular, a special performance is scheduled in which IUM's AI art and classical music collaborate, and the sequence in which Lim Ji-eun sings the main theme song of the music video of the AI ​​singer character Oliveina Mime is planned as a highlight event.

This exhibition will be an opportunity to share in-depth discussions on the convergence of art and technology and open a new era of creativity, and will provide visitors with the future possibilities of AI art and new artistic experiences.
