Seoul, South Korea – DogooGonggan, a specialized company in AI-powered autonomous patrol robots, and MaumAI, an AI solution provider, announced today the successful completion of a service robot pilot project conducted in collaboration with the Korea Robot Industry Promotion Institute.

The project successfully demonstrated the commercial viability of unmanned services powered by robotics and AI. The duo developed 'Aiden,' a cutting-edge autonomous robot built upon DogooGonggan's newly developed modular autonomous robot platform, 'Robjet.' Aiden is equipped with MaumAI's advanced AI models, SUDA (Semantic Understanding and Dialogue Agent) and WoRV (Wave of Voice Recognition).

Aiden has successfully demonstrated a wide range of real-world applications, including guidance, automated tasks, and voice-controlled IoT device management. This accomplishment has solidified the commercial potential of unmanned services powered by AI and robotics.

DogooGonggan's Robjet platform is a modular robot that allows for various functional customizations and designs based on its autonomous driving unit. Currently available in five versions (S1-S5), the S4 version was utilized for Aiden.

Robjet S4 features a 21-inch touch display for intuitive user interactions and guidance services. Additionally, it is equipped with a 2D LiDAR for autonomous driving and patrol, AI cameras, and a flame detection sensor. Safety features include a collision avoidance system that brings the robot to a halt when a pedestrian approaches within 25 cm, obstacle avoidance, and low-speed operation in complex environments (0.4-1.0 m/s). With a fully charged battery, Robjet S4 can operate continuously for up to eight hours.

"Our collaboration with MaumAI has once again revealed the vast potential of DogooGonggan's robotic hardware technology," said a representative from DogooGonggan. "We will continue to research and develop robotic hardware for various applications, including unmanned services, with the goal of providing safer and more efficient models."

A MaumAI representative expressed similar sentiments, stating, "This pilot project with DogooGonggan has demonstrated how the combination of on-device AI and autonomous robots can deliver fast and reliable unmanned services. We will continue to collaborate with various partners to expand the domestic and international unmanned robot market and offer AI solutions that provide high value to users."
