SEOUL, South Korea — Dayone Company, a leading South Korean adult education firm, has announced a significant surge in its performance, reporting an all-time high quarterly operating profit and robust revenue growth. The company’s financial report for the third quarter highlights the accelerating momentum fueled by balanced growth across its key business segments and expanding international presence.

For the three months ended September 30, Dayone Company recorded revenue of 33.7 billion KRW and an operating profit of 3.4 billion KRW. This represents a substantial improvement from both the same period last year and the previous quarter. Notably, the operating profit marks a more than eight-fold increase compared to the second quarter, securing the company's highest-ever quarterly profit.

This stellar performance is attributed to the successful execution of contracts secured earlier in the year, which have now translated into tangible revenue. The company’s growth was driven by its diversified business model encompassing Business-to-Consumer (B2C), Business-to-Business (B2B), and Business-to-Government (B2G) transactions, alongside a strategic push into overseas markets.

Global Expansion Drives Earnings

Dayone Company noted that its overseas business was the primary catalyst for the overall impressive results, showcasing the initial success of its global expansion strategy.

The B2B and B2G segments also demonstrated stable and significant growth. The B2B division reported revenue of 5.2 billion KRW, a robust 44% increase from the previous quarter. Similarly, the B2G division saw its revenue climb to 6.0 billion KRW, an increase of 25% over the same period.

The accumulated operating profit for the first three quarters of the year now stands at 2.5 billion KRW, successfully turning profitable compared to the same period last year. The strong quarterly performance makes it highly likely that the company will achieve a full-year net profit.

Innovation and Portfolio Strength

Dayone Company operates a powerful portfolio of popular educational content brands, including Fast Campus, Coloso, Mylight, and Zerobase. As of last year, the company had amassed a formidable customer base, totaling 1,345,015 individual customers and 1,771 corporate clients, with annual revenue reaching 127.7 billion KRW.

Lee Kang-min, CEO of Dayone Company, commented on the results, stating that the quarter "marks the point at which the execution of Dayone Company's technology-based content innovation model has been fully substantiated in both domestic and international markets."

Looking ahead, the CEO emphasized a commitment to leveraging technology for continued success: "We will further expand our presence in the global market based on operational efficiency driven by AI technology and a deep understanding of content consumers both in Korea and abroad."

The company's record quarter solidifies its position as a dominant player in the rapidly expanding adult education sector, signaling a period of sustained growth and global ambition fueled by strategic innovation and operational excellence.
