First place was China's Qin Haiyang with a time of 25.76 seconds, and second place was Belarus' Ilya Simanovich with a time of 25.78 seconds.

Choi Dong-yeol, who met with reporters after the game, said, "I have participated in many international competitions, but since the competition was held in Korea, there were many people cheering me on. I played without pressure and came to win with good memories."

He also said, "I was confident because I have strengths in starts and turns, and I got good results. If we keep competing like this, I think there will definitely come a time when we can stand shoulder to shoulder in bigger major competitions." He added, "There are big competitions taking place in Korea right now, and many “After the game, fans came and expressed their gratitude for their love of swimming, saying that they didn’t get tired thanks to all the support.”
