Seoul, South Korea – [Date] – Hyundai Construction has emerged as the leading Korean construction company in terms of customer management focus in the third quarter of 2024, according to a recent survey conducted by data research firm Data & Research.

The survey, which analyzed over 230,000 online sources including news articles, blogs, and social media posts, found that Hyundai Construction garnered the most mentions in relation to customer-centric initiatives. The company secured 948 postings, followed closely by Samsung C&T’s construction division with 927 and Lotte Construction with 817.

Other major builders such as GS Construction, SK ecoplant, and Daewoo Construction also demonstrated a notable focus on customer management, albeit at lower levels. The overall number of postings related to customer management among the top 12 construction companies increased by 20.9% compared to the same period last year, signaling a growing industry-wide emphasis on customer satisfaction.

Key Findings:

Increased Focus on Customer Experience: The surge in postings related to customer management indicates a growing awareness among Korean construction companies of the importance of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Industry-Wide Trend: The upward trend in customer management focus is not limited to a few companies but is a broader industry phenomenon.
Digital Transformation: The increasing use of digital tools and technologies is likely contributing to improved customer engagement and satisfaction.

Factors Driving the Trend

Several factors may be driving the increased focus on customer management in the Korean construction industry, including:

Intense Competition: As the construction market becomes increasingly competitive, companies are seeking to differentiate themselves through exceptional customer service.
Changing Customer Expectations: Customers are becoming more demanding and expect higher levels of quality, transparency, and customization in their interactions with businesses.
Regulatory Pressures: Government regulations and industry standards are placing greater emphasis on customer protection and satisfaction.

Industry Implications

The findings of this survey suggest that customer management is becoming a strategic priority for Korean construction companies. By focusing on customer needs and expectations, these companies can enhance their brand reputation, improve customer loyalty, and gain a competitive advantage in the market.
