LATAM Airlines Anticipates Flight Disruptions Due to Argentina's General Strike

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina - LATAM Airlines anticipates disruptions to its domestic and international flights due to a nationwide general strike scheduled in Argentina for April 10, 2025. Approximately 46 flights and 4,000 passengers are expected to be affected.

The LATAM Group announced the potential for delays and cancellations of flights to and from Argentina as several labor unions, including Intercargo, which provides ground handling services at all airports within Argentina, are participating in the general strike on April 10th.

In response, LATAM Airlines is offering flexible change options for affected passengers. Passengers who may experience inconvenience due to potential cancellations or schedule changes on the specified date can rebook their flights for a different date or time within 15 days of their original departure date, or move their existing flights to an earlier date, without incurring any fees.

LATAM Airlines advises passengers to regularly check their flight status through the official website (https://www.latamairlines.com/ar/es/flight-status).

In an official statement, LATAM Airlines reaffirmed its commitment to safety and service quality and expressed its regret for the inconvenience caused to passengers and cargo customers due to this unforeseen situation.

Flights Expected to Be Affected:

A total of 46 LATAM flights (including arrivals and departures) scheduled to operate in Argentina on April 10th may be affected, impacting approximately 4,000 passengers. The primary routes anticipated to experience disruptions are as follows:

São Paulo (Guarulhos): 5 flights

Buenos Aires (Ezeiza) - São Paulo (Guarulhos): 1 flight

Mendoza - São Paulo (Guarulhos): 1 flight

Buenos Aires (Aeroparque) - Santiago: 4 flights

Buenos Aires (Aeroparque) - Lima: 3 flights

Buenos Aires (Ezeiza) - Lima: 3 flights

Buenos Aires (Ezeiza) - Santiago: 2 flights

Córdoba - Santiago: 1 flight

Córdoba - Lima: 1 flight

Mendoza - Santiago: 1 flight

Salta - Lima: 1 flight

LATAM Airlines is committed to minimizing the disruptions caused by this general strike and providing maximum convenience to its passengers. The airline will continue to update relevant information. Passengers scheduled to travel are advised to check their flight information in advance and maintain close communication with the airline to avoid any disruptions to their travel plans.
