90 members from 14 countries participate, delivering moving performances in Santiago del Estero and Tucumán.

The Latin American Symphony Orchestra (Artistic Director: Jongwhi Park) successfully held "Concerts for Peace" in Santiago del Estero and Tucumán, northern Argentina, this past February, deeply moving local audiences. Notably, all performances were free of charge, adding to their significance.

This tour took place at the Santiago del Estero Cathedral and Forum, and the San Martín Theater in Tucumán, featuring diverse performances with special guest conductors including Lucía Vallecchi (Mendoza), Sergio Juárez (Santiago del Estero), Jorge Bulacia (Tucumán), and Ignacio Piloni (Uruguay).

The Latin American Symphony Orchestra was founded in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, led by Korean conductor Jongwhi Park. He recruited musicians from across Latin America online, aiming to deliver hope to the younger generation through art and music, regardless of race, belief, or social class. Currently, 90 musicians from 15 countries, including Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Uruguay, Venezuela, Guatemala, Mexico, Costa Rica, Cuba, Peru, Paraguay, and Argentina, are active in the orchestra.

The "Concerts for Peace" featured masterpieces by classical giants such as Dvořák, Rossini, Suppé, and Tchaikovsky, along with passionate Latin American music. In particular, the Korean folk song "Miryang Arirang," Paraguay's "Pájaro Campana," and Brazil's "Tico-Tico no Fubá" were performed as encore pieces, receiving enthusiastic responses from the audience.

This performance was sponsored by GPIE Co., Ltd. of Korea, and the Latin American Symphony Orchestra is scheduled to hold "Concerts for Peace" again in Ecuador and Uruguay in 2026.

Performance Program:

The "Concerts for Peace" featured the following classical and Latin American masterpieces:

Carnival Overture – Dvořák (Conducted by Jongwhi Park)
