Intellivix Slashes Safety Control Response Time by 500% Powered by Domestic AI Semiconductors

SEOUL — Intellivix, a leading vision Artificial Intelligence (AI) enterprise, has demonstrated a groundbreaking technological advancement by cutting initial emergency response times by more than 500 percent during field trials of its cutting-edge safety control solution, driven entirely by domestically produced AI semiconductors.

On June 4, Choe Eun-soo, Chief Executive Officer of Intellivix, officially unveiled the results of their autonomous safety and disaster management pilot projects at the 'K-AI Semiconductor Growth Forum' held at the Lotte Hotel Seoul in Jung-gu. The presentation highlighted the successful real-world integration of Korean-made Neural Processing Units (NPUs) into wildfire early warning systems and comprehensive municipal safety platforms.

The extensive pilot program was sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) and organized under the leadership of the Gyeongnam Technopark. The collaborative project aims to validate the scalability, processing efficiency, and operational stability of homegrown semiconductor hardware when tasked with heavy, continuous computer vision processing in critical public sectors.

To establish an impenetrable safety net over challenging mountainous terrains, Intellivix integrated 'ARIES' and 'Regulus'—state-of-the-art domestic NPUs manufactured by Korean semiconductor innovator Mobilint—directly into stationary forest monitoring cameras and autonomous aerial drones. This infrastructure allowed the system to perform ultra-low latency, real-time edge processing to detect subtle smoke columns and emerging flames instantaneously.

Beyond simple visual detection, the architecture integrates spatial terrain elevation data and real-time meteorological variables to forecast the exact vector and propagation path of a wildfire on a sophisticated 3D geographical map. When an airborne drone registers an anomaly, it immediately transmits precise GPS coordinates and high-definition video feeds to the control center, enabling immediate, targeted intervention.

The backend orchestration is managed seamlessly by Intellivix’s proprietary automated control platform, known as the 'Gen AI Monitoring System' (Gen AMS). Upon receiving telemetry data, Gen AMS automatically maps out the fire's point of origin and plots its predictive trajectory, removing human delay from the initial assessment phase.

In addition to environmental disaster prevention, the platform proved its capabilities across broader urban public safety domains. The pilot successfully validated full automated detection across eight core dangerous situations: loitering, unauthorized intrusion, sudden physical collapse, open flames, smoke detection, violent behavior, Automatic License Plate Recognition (LPR), and missing person localization.

Notably, when simulating a workplace collapse, the AI instantly issued precise visual alerts and synthesized structured textual reports, driving the 500% reduction in response time. Following the triumph of these validation trials, Intellivix announced the successful large-scale expansion of Gen AMS across the combined municipal CCTV infrastructures of Sancheong, Hadong, and Hamyang counties, managing over 2,000 continuous video channels to protect local citizens dynamically.
