Seoul, South Korea – Toyota Korea has been recognized for its outstanding contributions to the community by being selected as an "Excellent Civil-Government Cooperation Organization" in 2024. The company was presented with an award by the Seoul Mayor.
The award, established to honor organizations and corporations that actively participate in civil-government cooperation and contribute to improving the quality of life for citizens and the development of city administration, is a testament to Toyota Korea's commitment to social responsibility.
Since 2021, Toyota Korea has been a dedicated supporter of the "Anyone's Dream Tree Orchestra," a program designed to provide music education to underprivileged children and youth residing in Seoul. Through a partnership with the Sejong Cultural Center, Toyota Korea has been instrumental in offering these young people regular music lessons and opportunities to perform on prestigious stages.
Orchestra members receive systematic music education and have the chance to showcase their talents at the annual "Anyone's Dream Tree Orchestra Concert" held at the Sejong Cultural Center. Some exceptionally talented students have even been given the opportunity to collaborate with the KBS Symphony Orchestra, providing them with valuable experience and inspiring them to pursue careers in music.
