Gochang, South Korea – Sangha Farm, an affiliate of the prominent South Korean dairy company Maeil Dairies, has announced the launch of its new line of handcrafted hams and sausages. This latest offering underscores Sangha Farm's commitment to producing high-quality, authentic food products by employing traditional German manufacturing methods and utilizing exclusively 100% Korean antibiotic-free pork. The company revealed the new product range on the 18th of April, signaling a significant expansion of its artisanal food offerings within its agro-tourism theme park located in Gochang.

Nestled in the pristine countryside, Sangha Farm has long been recognized for its dedication to sustainable agricultural practices and the creation of culinary experiences that connect consumers with the natural origins of their food. This new venture into handcrafted meats further solidifies this ethos. The foundation of these premium hams and sausages lies in the sourcing of top-tier, domestically raised pork that is entirely free of antibiotics. This commitment to quality extends to the curing process, where the pork is meticulously seasoned with sun-dried salt harvested from the local Gochang region. This traditional method not only imparts a distinct and savory flavor but also ensures a healthier product with a balanced level of salinity.

Distinguishing these artisanal creations from mass-produced alternatives is the use of natural casings – specifically, sheep and pork intestines – in place of conventional collagen casings. This choice contributes significantly to the final texture of the sausages, providing a delicate tenderness and a satisfying "snap" upon biting, a hallmark of authentic European sausages.

The expertise behind Sangha Farm's new ham and sausage line is deeply rooted in traditional German butchery practices. The head craftsman of the on-site ham workshop has acquired firsthand knowledge of these time-honored techniques during his training in Germany. This dedication to authenticity is further reflected in the selection of traditional German and European seasonings, carefully chosen to complement the natural richness of the pork. Moreover, each type of ham and sausage within the new range is thoughtfully prepared with varying meat grinding consistencies and encased in specific natural casings to achieve a diverse spectrum of textures and flavor profiles, catering to discerning palates.

Among the flagship products is the Bratwurst, a quintessential German sausage whose name is derived from the German words "Brat" (to roast or pan-fry) and "Wurst" (sausage). Sangha Farm's Bratwurst is characterized by its mild and savory flavor, devoid of harsh spices, making it a versatile culinary staple suitable for various preparations and pairings.

To celebrate the launch of these new products and to further enhance the visitor experience, Sangha Farm is organizing a special event, the "So! Happy Picnic Day," which will take place across the entire theme park from May 1st to May 11th. This event is designed to encourage visitors to enjoy the natural surroundings and the newly available artisanal foods in a festive outdoor setting. Additionally, Sangha Farm is offering a promotional event on its official online marketplace until April 30th, providing an opportunity for a wider audience to sample these handcrafted delicacies.

A spokesperson for Sangha Farm emphasized the significance of this launch, stating, "The introduction of these new handcrafted hams and sausages from our workshop is more than just a product release; it embodies Sangha Farm's core brand philosophy of connecting people with the authenticity of food in a natural environment. We believe that by combining our rural theme park experience with traditional, handcrafted food, we can offer our customers a unique and enriching opportunity to directly experience and appreciate the true value of our products."

This strategic move by Sangha Farm not only diversifies its offerings but also leverages the growing consumer interest in artisanal, high-quality food products made with ethically sourced ingredients and traditional methods. By integrating its food production with its agro-tourism initiatives, Sangha Farm is creating a distinctive brand identity that resonates with consumers seeking authentic and wholesome culinary experiences. The success of this new product line is anticipated to further enhance Sangha Farm's reputation as a leading destination for both agricultural tourism and premium food products in South Korea.
