His remarks highlighted that the tournament was a collaborative masterpiece born from the dedication and cooperation of countless individuals.

This award is attributed to the combination of outstanding play, world-class organization, media production, and successful community engagement. Google's sponsorship and Resorts World Sentosa's hosting further elevated the tournament's prestige. Crucially, the event solidified Singapore's position as a vital hub capable of attracting and successfully hosting premier international sports events. This proved Singapore's sports infrastructure and operational capabilities are of the highest global standard.

Adding to the celebrations, Singaporean photographer Chin Ann Tan received double recognition by winning the 'Sports Photo of the Year' for a powerful image captured during the match. His photograph depicts the two players with their heads in their hands, navigating the psychological tension in front of the chessboard.
