Unilever Professional, the specialized business unit of global company Unilever, is making a significant impact on the Paraguayan gastronomic industry by introducing innovative solutions in institutional hygiene. Since entering the Paraguayan market in 2018, Unilever Professional has supplied specialized cleaning and disinfection products for professional sectors, supported by the highest quality standards and leading brands.

Unilever Professional's portfolio is designed to meet the operational requirements of various industries, focusing on three main categories: kitchen hygiene, laundry and fabric care, and multi-purpose detergents and disinfectants. The line specifically tailored for foodservice establishments holds a strong competitive edge through the Cif brand, a synonym for efficacy, safety, and reliability. Cif provides proven solutions that address a wide range of cleaning needs, from removing grease in kitchens to surface disinfection.

Innovative Presence at 'Expo Gastronomic 2025'

Unilever Professional solidified its position as a leader in institutional cleaning and disinfection solutions by participating for the second consecutive year in 'Expo Gastronomic 2025,' held on May 28th. Their interactive booth at the event showcased key solutions focusing on industrial kitchen hygiene and specialized detergents, attracting hundreds of foodservice professionals who showed keen interest in improving efficient hygiene processes.

The Unilever Professional booth offered an experiential approach, allowing visitors to participate in live demonstrations and receive personalized technical advice from a team of experts. This provided a direct opportunity to demonstrate how cleaning and disinfection solutions can revolutionize operational efficiency in the foodservice industry.

Regional representatives from Unilever Professional, including Carolina Santamaria, Regional Marketing Director; Ignacio Amiranate, Regional Sales Director; and Martín Falchi, New Business Director for Unilever Paraguay, attended the event, underscoring the company's strong commitment to the Paraguayan market. They shared strategic insights into current trends and challenges in institutional cleaning and, alongside local technicians, continuously advise clients to support the efficient and safe on-site application of their products.

Cif 4en1: Key to Optimizing Cleaning and Disinfection Processes

One of the main highlights of the event was a technical lecture by Argentine expert Martín Duarte. He presented key strategies for optimizing time and cost in professional cleaning processes and introduced 'Cif 4en1,' an innovative solution containing 5th generation quaternary ammonium. This product maximizes user convenience and efficiency by combining four functions—cleaning, disinfection, degreasing, and deodorizing—into a single product. The 5th generation quaternary ammonium provides powerful germicidal action against various pathogens and meets the high hygiene standards required, especially in food-related environments.

A Unilever Professional representative stated, "Many professionals showed great interest in our solutions through this 'Expo Gastronomic' event," emphasizing, "We will continue to dedicate ourselves to innovation and support to contribute to the growth and development of the Paraguayan gastronomic industry."
