Seoul, Republic of Korea – Global superstar BTS member Jin's solo track, "Don't Say You Love Me," has entered the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart, proving its immense popularity. The song made a remarkable debut at number 25 on the chart dated May 31, 2025, marking Jin's third solo achievement on the Philippines Hot 100 chart.

Title Track of Second Mini Album 'Echo' Captivates Global Fans

Jin captivated fans worldwide with the release of his second mini album 'Echo' on May 16, 2025. Consisting of a total of seven tracks, this album showcases Jin's deeper musical prowess and diverse charms. The title track, 'Don't Say You Love Me,' is a melancholic yet emotional pop song that calmly expresses the complex emotions arising from a romantic relationship, resonating deeply with listeners. Immediately after its release, the song topped Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart and reached 58th on the UK Official Singles Chart 'Top 100,' demonstrating a strong presence in the global music market. It also debuted at 90th on the US Billboard 'Hot 100' chart, proving its worldwide popularity.

Among the album's収録曲 (included tracks) is "Loser," a collaboration with former IZ*ONE solo artist Choi Yena (YENA), which drew significant anticipation from fans. 'Loser' is a vibrant yet edgy pop-punk track, featuring the impressive and fresh vocal chemistry between Jin and Choi Yena.

Solo Artist Jin's Unstoppable Chart Performance

This isn't Jin's first entry onto the Philippines Hot 100 chart. Tracks from his debut album, "Happy," have also previously entered the chart. 'Happy,' Jin's first solo album released on November 15, 2024, featured songs like 'Running Wild' and 'I'll Be There.' Notably, the pre-release track, 'I'll Be There,' first entered the Philippines Hot 100 chart on November 6, 2024, signaling a successful start to Jin's solo activities. Subsequently, the title track, 'Running Wild,' reached 10th place on the Philippines Hot 100 chart on November 26, 2024, announcing a successful debut.

As such, Jin's solo songs – 'I'll Be There,' 'Running Wild,' and now 'Don't Say You Love Me' – have consistently shown strength on the Philippine charts, confirming the strong support of his local fandom.

The Status and Significance of the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 Chart

The Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart is a crucial indicator that compiles the most prominent and popular songs by both local and international artists in the Philippines. This chart is one of Billboard Philippines' official music charts and is updated weekly, alongside the 'Top Philippine Songs' chart. The Billboard Philippines Hot 100 ranks the top 100 songs based on streaming and sales data collected and compiled by Luminate, a music and entertainment data provider. This comprehensively reflects data from major music platforms used in the Philippines, such as Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music, allowing for an accurate understanding of local music trends.

This week's Philippines Hot 100 chart also features BTS member Jungkook's collaboration with Latto, "Seven," at 87th place, still showcasing its status as a global hit. Jungkook's 'Seven,' released in 2023, enjoyed worldwide popularity, topping the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, and continues to be loved in the Philippines.

The successful global solo activities of BTS members signify not only the popularity of K-pop but also the recognition of each member's individuality and musical capabilities in the global market. Jin's entry into the Philippines Hot 100 chart with 'Don't Say You Love Me' further solidifies his position as a solo artist, raising expectations for his future musical journey.
