CHUNGNAM, South Korea – The Chungnam Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (Chungnam CCEI) has announced a call for applications from five promising startups within Chungnam province to participate in its "Overseas Market Development Support Project (Thailand) 2025." The initiative aims to facilitate the entry of local food and consumer goods companies into the Thai market. The application period is open until Friday, April 11th.

Through this project, Chungnam CCEI will support the participation of five selected Chungnam-based startups at the 2025 TRAFS (Thailand Retail, Food & Hospitality Services) exhibition, scheduled to be held from July 24th to 27th. This participation is designed to assist these companies in expanding their reach into the Southeast Asian market.

TRAFS is a prominent B2B trade show in Asia specializing in food, beverages, alcoholic beverages, consumer goods, the food service industry, and retail. The large-scale business exhibition attracts approximately 47,810 visitors from 44 countries and features conferences, forums, and seminars on the food industry throughout its duration.

The selected companies will participate in the exhibition for four days and three nights, from Thursday, July 24th to Sunday, July 27th. The support provided to these companies includes a booth at the exhibition, individual interpreter services, 50% of round-trip airfare, partial support for accommodation and logistics costs, and pre-arranged business consultations with local buyers to facilitate on-site export discussions. Additionally, they will receive translated materials in the local language.

Furthermore, as a follow-up to their participation, the selected startups will receive ongoing support in the form of continuous matching with major potential partners in Thailand, as well as opportunities to register and list their products on B2B and B2C online platforms. This aims to provide startups with valuable overseas market information and opportunities for international export channels.

An official from Chungnam CCEI stated, "We plan to provide a stepping stone for the promising startups in Chungnam to enter the Southeast Asian market and support the establishment of sustainable overseas partnerships."

For more detailed information regarding the application process and related details, interested parties can visit the official Chungnam Center for Creative Economy and Innovation website and refer to the announcements section: https://url.kr/ov2rpn
