South Korean football star Cho Gyu-sung, currently recovering from a knee injury, has shared an update on his condition via his club FC Midtjylland’s social media.
In a video posted on the club’s official social media channels, Cho can be seen going about his daily routine, including meals and rehabilitation exercises. The video offers fans a glimpse into the player’s recovery process as he continues to work hard to return to the pitch.
Cho, who rose to international fame after a stellar performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, joined Midtjylland from Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors last year. He quickly established himself as a key player for the Danish club, scoring 12 goals and providing 4 assists in 30 league appearances.
However, a persistent knee injury forced Cho to undergo surgery at the end of last season. Unfortunately, he developed complications that further delayed his recovery. In July, Midtjylland announced that Cho would be sidelined for several months due to the complications.
Despite the setback, Cho remains positive and determined to return to action. In the video, he expressed his gratitude to the fans for their support and assured them that he will be back on the pitch soon.
“I want to thank all the fans for their support,” Cho said. “I miss being on the pitch and I miss all of you. I’ll be back soon. See you at the stadium.”
As one of South Korea’s most promising young talents, Cho’s injury has been a major blow for both the player and his fans. However, his positive attitude and dedication to his recovery have given fans hope that he will return to his best form.
