Brazil Cruises Past Paraguay 5-0, Advances to Copa América Futsal Femenina 2025 Semifinals

The Brazilian women's futsal national team secured their spot in the semifinals of the 2025 CONMEBOL Copa América Futsal Femenina (South American Women's Futsal Championship) as Group A winners after a dominant 5-0 victory over Paraguay. With this win, the defending champions Brazil maintained their perfect record of three consecutive victories in the tournament, reaffirming their status as strong contenders for the title.

Tampa's Hat-Trick Highlights Brazil's Offensive Power

Brazil's attack was relentless from the opening whistle. Tampa put on a stellar performance, scoring a hat-trick with goals in the 8th, 9th, and 19th minutes of the first half. Her first goal was a sharp close-range finish, followed by a powerful long-range shot from outside the penalty area for the second. The third goal, a clever toe-poke through the goalkeeper's legs, sent the crowd into a frenzy. Brazil headed into halftime with a comfortable 3-0 lead.

Brazil maintained their momentum in the second half. Nati Detoni calmly slotted in the fourth goal in the 5th minute, and Vanin added the fifth in the 12th minute with a clean strike. Paraguay fought hard to find a way back into the game, but Brazil's solid defense held firm.
