New York City, USA – The iconic Empire State Building, a towering symbol of New York, was illuminated on May 21st in a vibrant array of colors symbolizing BTS member Jin's recently released second mini-album, Echo. Jin, a global superstar and a pivotal member of the South Korean sensation BTS, personally attended the special lighting ceremony, marking a significant moment in his burgeoning solo career.

Big Hit Music, Jin's agency, confirmed the commemorative event, which saw the historic skyscraper bathed in blue, pink, yellow, and white lights. During the illumination ceremony, Jin shared his profound sentiments, stating, "Standing here, I truly feel that just as music brightens our hearts, the Empire State Building illuminates New York." He elaborated on the chosen color scheme, explaining that blue represents hope, pink symbolizes love, yellow embodies joy, and white signifies a new beginning.

"We chose these colors hoping that the dreams and messages we share would reverberate," Jin expressed, addressing his dedicated fanbase, ARMY. "Thank you, ARMY, for always being my inspiration and strength, and for becoming a loud echo that resonates worldwide. All of this was possible because of your love." The event also featured a captivating live performance of "Don't Say You Love Me," the title track from his new album, much to the delight of fans present.

This high-profile event at one of New York's most recognizable landmarks underscores Jin's significant impact as a solo artist and the immense global reach of BTS. The Empire State Building has a long-standing tradition of special lightings to commemorate significant events, holidays, and causes, and Jin's album celebration joins a prestigious list, highlighting his cultural prominence.

Jin's promotional activities in the United States continue with a scheduled appearance on the popular NBC program The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on May 22nd. Following this, he is set to connect directly with his fans at a special event titled "Hi-Seokjin" in New York on May 23rd, promising more intimate interactions with ARMY.

Echo, which was released on May 16th, has been met with enthusiastic responses from critics and fans alike, showcasing Jin's distinctive vocal prowess and artistic direction. The album's release and subsequent promotional activities, including this landmark event at the Empire State Building, signify a powerful stride in Jin's individual musical journey, further solidifying his status as a global entertainer.
