On June 21st (local time), during the 'K-STAR SPARK IN VIETNAM 2025' concert held at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi, Vietnam, singer G-Dragon experienced an unexpected stage invasion by an audience member. However, thanks to the quick response of his dancers, the performance was successfully completed. This concert, which saw 40,000 fans gather after 13 years since his last visit to Vietnam, proved G-Dragon's unwavering global influence once again.

13 Years Since His Last Visit to Vietnam, Hanoi Becomes a Festival

G-Dragon's visit to Vietnam was his first in approximately 13 years since Big Bang's visit in 2012. The news of his concert turned Hanoi into a festive atmosphere. Fans held car parades with vehicles wrapped in G-Dragon's photos and welcome messages, while local media reported on his visit daily, showing immense interest. Notably, 40,000 fans gathered for this concert, truly demonstrating G-Dragon's explosive popularity.

Responding to the enthusiastic welcome from Vietnamese fans, G-Dragon garnered attention by wearing a red sleeveless top and yellow cardigan, the colors of the Vietnamese flag, even in his airport fashion. This thoughtful fan service left a deep impression on local fans, creating a fervent atmosphere even before the concert.

The Fiery Stage of 'Wet GD' Amidst Heavy Rain

Despite the hot and humid climate of Hanoi and pouring rain, G-Dragon delivered a passionate performance with unwavering enthusiasm. Appearing to the cheers of the audience, he captivated them with a setlist that included new songs like 'PO₩ER,' 'HOME SWEET HOME (feat. TAEYANG & DAESUNG),' and 'TOO BAD (feat. Anderson .Paak),' as well as legendary hits like 'Crayon' and 'Crooked.'

In particular, he ignited the atmosphere with his fervent singing and explosive energy, even amidst the heavy rain. While captivating eyes with his unique stage outfits, he further elevated the concert's fervor by performing acts like taking off his jacket. In response, fans poured out admiration for 'Wet GD''s concert-like stage, singing along in unison and creating a spectacular scene. The intense synergy created by G-Dragon and his fans, despite the bad weather, was the highlight of this concert.

Dancers' 'Bare-Bodied Defense' Shines Amidst Crisis

During the concert, an unexpected incident occurred: an audience member invaded the stage. What could have escalated into a dangerous situation was swiftly averted as G-Dragon's dancers immediately recognized the danger and restrained the audience member, protecting G-Dragon. Thanks to the dancers' quick response, G-Dragon was able to safely continue the performance, and the situation was quickly resolved as security personnel then escorted the individual off the stage.

This incident showcased the shining professionalism of the dancers who prioritized the artist's safety, and also served as a reminder of the importance of concert safety management. Fans praised the dancers' courageous actions, further deepening their trust in G-Dragon and his teamwork.

G-Dragon's Unending World Tour 'Übermensch'

Prior to this Vietnam concert, G-Dragon successfully completed performances in Tokyo, Bulacan, Osaka, and Macau. His third world tour, 'G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch],' will continue. He is scheduled to meet fans worldwide, with Australian performances in Sydney on July 2nd and 3rd, and in Melbourne on July 6th and 7th. He will also visit nine Asian cities including Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bangkok, and Hong Kong, three U.S. cities including Newark, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, and Paris, France.

Through this world tour, G-Dragon is expected to once again showcase his musical prowess and performance power to the world, elevating the status of K-POP. All eyes are on G-Dragon, anticipating what new appearances and emotions he will deliver in the remaining world tour dates.
