One-stop response system covering AI flame and smoke detection, manager alerts, real-time 119 video reporting, and remote sprinkler activation

Amid growing concerns over safety in multi-family housing complexes, such as electric vehicle (EV) fires in underground parking lots and mechanical room fires, a domestic solution that uses AI to detect flames and smoke for an all-in-one response from initial reaction to fire suppression is gaining attention as a viable alternative.

Following the EV fire in the underground parking lot of an apartment complex in Cheongna International City, Incheon, where it was confirmed that sprinklers failed to operate properly, demand has grown for private solutions equipped with integrated response systems that bridge fire detection and initial suppression.

S-Solution, an AI disaster safety solution company, announced on the 12th that its system has been adopted by 120 apartment complexes and 80,000 households nationwide as of September this year.

The biggest advantage of S-Solution is that it serves as a one-stop solution, seamlessly handling everything from early fire detection via AI video analysis to mobile monitoring platform alerts and the remote operation of existing fire extinguishing equipment.

S-Solution captures signs of anomalies at the early smoke stage of a fire. Within one minute, the system executes manager notifications, transmits fire location and real-time video to 119 via text messaging, and triggers remote activation of sprinklers.

S-Solution emphasized that the core of EV fire response lies in early smoke detection and initial action, pointing out that according to fire authorities' experiments, operating existing sprinklers alone is sufficient to prevent the spread of fire to adjacent vehicles. Furthermore, by adding AI servers to pre-installed CCTVs to upgrade fire detection capabilities, the solution utilizes existing CCTV and sprinkler infrastructure, making it highly cost-effective and efficient for consumers.

Beyond multi-family housing, S-Solution plans to supply customized "AI Fire Safety Integrated Solutions" optimized for various industrial and construction sites, including logistics centers, data centers, and construction sites.

Meanwhile, S-Solution is securing consecutive contract achievements based on its technological competitiveness. Following its selection as a mass-production developer for a ship fire detection solution with Hanwha Ocean, S-Solution was named the lead R&D institution for the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s "Livestock-customized AI Fire Early Detection and Response Integrated System." It has also signed an AI fire detection solution development contract with KNF (Korea Nuclear Fuel) and secured Proof of Concept (PoC) contracts with major institutions such as Korea Midland Power and the Cheonan City Corporation, strengthening its market influence across public and industrial sectors.
