SEOUL, South Korea - Confectionery and food giant Lotte Wellfood has cemented its status as a leader in innovative digital marketing, securing an impressive haul of six awards across three major categories at the prestigious '2025 Korea Digital Advertising Awards.' The ceremony, a beacon for digital creativity and technological achievement in the advertising sector, took place on December 11 at the Gavit Convention Hall on Some Sevit in Seoul.

Hosted by the Korea Digital Advertising Association and backed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the annual awards ceremony is considered the largest of its kind in the nation, routinely attracting over 300 submissions. Its core mission is to celebrate outstanding works that leverage creativity and cutting-edge technology to drive the growth of the advertising industry amidst a constantly evolving digital environment. Lotte Wellfood's multiple wins underscore the company's successful pivot towards dynamic, high-impact digital engagement across various platforms.

A Spectrum of Excellence: From CSR to Global Promotion

Lotte Wellfood’s award-winning portfolio showcased a deep commitment to not only commercial success but also corporate social responsibility (CSR) and next-generation content creation.

The company's social initiative, the 'Dr. Xylitol Bus is Coming! Campaign Video,' earned the highest honor, claiming the Gold Award in the highly competitive CSR category. This video campaign highlighted the company’s efforts to promote oral health through community outreach, demonstrating that impactful advertising can go hand-in-hand with social value creation.

In the realm of digital video, the '2025 Seollem Run Digital Video' secured the Silver Award in the Digital Video (Short-form) category. This recognition highlights Lotte Wellfood's mastery of concise, engaging content tailored for modern mobile consumption habits. Short-form video has become crucial for capturing audience attention, and this campaign proved its effectiveness in generating buzz and driving participation.

Harnessing Social Power and AI

Lotte Wellfood proved its deep understanding of social media engagement by sweeping two awards in the SNS Marketing category. The maintenance and content quality of the 'Pepero Official SNS Channels (Instagram, X)' were recognized with a Bronze Award, acknowledging the consistent effort put into building a loyal community around the iconic snack. Furthermore, the company’s forward-thinking approach to content creation was lauded, with its distinctive YouTube channel, 'Matkal Studio,' receiving an Excellence Award for its unique and engaging content strategy.

Venturing into advanced technology, the 'Low-Sugar Ice Cream Back to the Pure Event' received an Excellence Award in the AI Story Category. This award is a testament to Lotte Wellfood’s innovative integration of artificial intelligence into its marketing narrative, creating personalized and memorable consumer experiences.

Finally, the 'Pepero Global Supporters Pepero AGENT:P' campaign was recognized with an Excellence Award in the Promotion Category. This global initiative successfully mobilized international supporters, transforming brand loyalists into active ambassadors and extending the reach of the Pepero brand across worldwide markets.

The six awards collectively reflect Lotte Wellfood’s comprehensive strategy: a commitment to social good, a focus on modern short-form video, sophisticated social media management, adoption of emerging technologies like AI, and effective global outreach. This decisive victory at the 2025 Korea Digital Advertising Awards firmly establishes Lotte Wellfood as a trailblazer in the digital advertising landscape.
