Initiative aims to ensure the success of the 2026 Korea Jeju Garden Culture Expo and expand public green spaces through public-private partnerships.

JEJU — Jeju Special Self-Governing Province is launching a project to develop corporate gardens across Baram-moru Park in the Seogwipo Innovation City area.

As part of efforts to guarantee the success of the 2026 Korea Jeju Garden Culture Expo—scheduled to run for five days from November 6 to 10 at Baram-moru Park—the provincial government is pursuing a "Corporate Participation Garden Creation Agreement" with local companies to promote garden culture.

This initiative is designed to build a public-private cooperative model that links corporate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management and social contribution activities with garden culture. It also aims to establish sustainable garden spaces that residents can continuously enjoy long after the expo concludes.

Three organizations—Innisfree Moeum Foundation, Aegis Asset Management, and Snoopy Garden—will participate in creating the corporate gardens. The provincial government will provide the designated development sites and administrative support, while the participating companies will independently plan, design, fund, and donate gardens that reflect their unique corporate identities and values.

Following the expo, where these spaces will serve as exhibition showcases, the Jeju provincial government will officially take over their maintenance and management. The area will then be utilized as an everyday retreat for residents and visitors exploring Baram-moru Park.

Meanwhile, the 2026 Korea Jeju Garden Culture Expo will feature a diverse array of garden exhibitions, including designer gardens, Sunuleum (mutual aid) gardens, and carbon-reduction gardens, alongside comprehensive garden culture, industry, and hands-on experience programs.
