LOS ANGELES — The legendary British rock band, The Rolling Stones, is set to return with a new studio album this summer, proving that their musical engine shows no signs of slowing down even after six decades.

According to reports from AP and Reuters on May 5th (local time), the band hosted a red-carpet event in New York City to officially announce the release of their 25th studio album, titled Foreign Tongues.

A Quick Return Following 'Hackney Diamonds'
This upcoming release comes just three years after their 2023 hit album, Hackney Diamonds. The full album is scheduled for official release on July 10th. To stir up excitement, the band has already pre-released the lead single "In the Stars" along with a b-side track, "Rough and Twisted."

The album features 14 tracks in total. Notably, it includes recordings by the late drummer Charlie Watts, who passed away in 2021, preserving his iconic rhythm for the fans one more time. The legendary rockers also embraced modern sounds through collaborations with pop superstars Post Malone and Justin Bieber.

Ageless Passion for the Stage
To promote the new record, the band is scheduled to appear on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on May 6, 7, and 13.

Despite their age—lead singer Mick Jagger is 82, and guitarists Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood are 82 and 78 respectively—the band remains hungry for the stage. During the event, Jagger expressed his burning desire to hit the road, stating, "I really want to do an album tour. I hope we can get out there as soon as possible."

Since their debut on July 12, 1962, The Rolling Stones have remained the gold standard of rock 'n' roll. As they approach their 64th anniversary, Foreign Tongues serves as a testament to their enduring legacy and creative spirit.
