SEOUL, South Korea – Hana Card announced on May 14th the launch of its new ‘Hana One More Easy’ check card, specifically designed to cater to the 2.65 million foreign residents currently residing in South Korea. This initiative aims to provide enhanced benefits that address the daily life and leisure activity needs of the growing international community within the country.

The ‘Hana One More Easy’ check card offers two distinct benefit schemes: the ‘Hana One More Service’ and the ‘Easy Service.’ The Hana One More Service focuses on subscription benefits. Foreign residents who register their regular payments for popular subscription services such as YouTube Premium, Netflix, and Coupang Wow will receive a ₩1,000 cashback per transaction. This benefit acknowledges the increasing reliance on digital content and e-commerce platforms among foreign residents.

The Easy Service provides broad cashback opportunities across essential spending categories. Cardholders can receive a ₩1,000 cashback for transactions exceeding ₩10,000 in the following areas:

F&B (Food & Beverage): This includes coffee shops, dessert cafes, and food delivery services, reflecting common daily expenditures.
Transportation: Covering public transportation, intercity/express buses, and railways, crucial for navigating Korea.
Lifestyle: Encompassing insurance payments, supermarket purchases, and Olive Young (a popular health and beauty store), addressing everyday living needs.
Automatic Payments: This category includes telecommunication fees and gas/electricity utility bills, simplifying essential household payments.
The cashback benefits for the ‘Hana One More Easy’ check card are contingent on the previous month's spending performance. Cardholders can receive a maximum cashback of ₩4,000 per service category (F&B, Transportation, Lifestyle, Automatic Payments, and Subscriptions).

Applying for the ‘Hana One More Easy’ check card is convenient, with options available at any Hana Bank branch nationwide or through the Hana EZ mobile application.

A Hana Card official stated, “The ‘Hana One More Easy’ check card is a product of Hana Financial Group’s ‘Hana One More Easy’ brand, meticulously prepared to offer customized benefits to our increasing number of foreign customers residing in Korea.” The official added, “We are committed to continuously striving to provide a variety of services that support long-term residency and rational consumption activities for foreign residents in Korea.” This launch underscores Hana Card’s dedication to financial inclusion and tailored services for the diverse international population in South Korea.
