The Paraguayan government has announced a new 'national brand' emphasizing four core values: young population, macroeconomic stability, regional hub, and eco-friendly nation. This brand overhaul is part of a strategy to position Paraguay as the optimal investment destination in South America and secure a competitive edge in the global market.

New National Brand Strategy:

The Paraguayan government plans to establish a new national brand strategy and actively promote it domestically and internationally to attract investment and drive economic growth.
The strategy was developed through collaboration between the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC), the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies (Mitic), and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE).

Four Core Values:

Young Population: Paraguay has one of the youngest population structures in Latin America, signifying a dynamic workforce and future growth potential.
Macroeconomic Stability: Maintaining stable currency, low inflation, and controlled fiscal deficit for over 80 years, providing a stable environment for investors.
Regional Hub: Despite its landlocked geographical limitation, Paraguay is emerging as a strategic connection point in South America through infrastructure development like the Bioceanic Corridor.
Eco-Friendly Nation: Strengthening its position as an eco-friendly energy producer through sustainable energy sources like the Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Plant.

Government Expectations:

The government aims to promote Paraguay's attractiveness to the world and stimulate investment and trade through the new national brand.
"We hope Paraguay's brand will be known to the world, and we hope you all become ambassadors for Paraguay," said Minister of Industry and Commerce Javier Giménez.
Paraguay continues to achieve economic growth based on its abundant natural resources and agricultural output.
The government is implementing various policies, including tax breaks and investment incentives, to attract foreign investment.
Paraguay, as a member of Mercosur (Southern Common Market), is strengthening economic cooperation with countries in the region.
Paraguay's new national brand strategy demonstrates its commitment to becoming a dynamic economic center in South America.
