Over 50 Vietnamese Enterprises Navigate Trade Winds at Singapore Food Expo

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam – Over fifty Vietnamese companies have cast their sights on new export horizons, participating in the prestigious FHA-Food & Beverage 2025 exhibition, which commenced in Singapore on April 8th. Amidst increasing global economic uncertainties and the looming impact of new U.S. tariff policies, this strong Vietnamese contingent is strategically leveraging the prominent Asian food and beverage trade show to cultivate fresh opportunities in the international marketplace.

Under the banner of the ‘Vietnam-Ho Chi Minh City Joint Pavilion,’ the participating enterprises are showcasing a diverse array of their flagship products. These include processed and dried agricultural goods, premium coffee, dairy products, refreshing fruit juices, staple rice, various noodles, and an assortment of flavourful spices, highlighting the breadth and quality of Vietnam’s food production sector.

The delegation’s presence at FHA-Food & Beverage 2025 underscores a proactive approach to mitigating potential setbacks caused by evolving global trade dynamics. Ian Roberts, a member of the exhibition's organizing committee and Regional Vice President of Informa Markets Asia, expressed his admiration for the Vietnamese showcase. He lauded the diversity of the exhibited products and conveyed strong confidence in the potential of Vietnamese enterprises to expand their presence in the global market.

A dedicated business matching program, scheduled for April 9th and 10th, is poised to be a crucial element of the Vietnamese delegation's strategy. This initiative aims to foster direct connections between the participating companies and key buyers, importers, and distributors from Singapore and other international markets, facilitating potential partnerships and trade agreements.

The FHA-Food & Beverage 2025 exhibition, running until April 11th, has attracted over 1,500 exhibitors from more than 50 countries. The event serves as a vital platform for showcasing a wide spectrum of the food and beverage industry, including distributors, importers, manufacturers, and globally recognized brands. Organizers anticipate a substantial turnout, with expected visitor numbers exceeding 65,000.
