Cheonan, South Korea – Jeong Mong-gyu, who secured a decisive victory in the 55th Korean Football Association (KFA) presidential election, commenced his new term by visiting the construction site of the Korea Football Comprehensive Center in Cheonan. On March 2nd.

President Chung, accompanied by Cheonan Mayor Park Sang-don, conducted an on-site inspection to assess the progress and current status of the project. This visit marked his first official engagement since being re-elected as KFA president.

The Korea Football Comprehensive Center is a collaborative initiative between the KFA and Cheonan City, designed to establish a comprehensive football and sports facility spanning 478,000㎡ in Gasan-ri, Ipjang-myeon, Cheonan City.

The complex will feature an array of facilities, including 11 football fields, a stadium, indoor football fields, accommodation, a football history museum, a gymnasium, and community sports facilities. It is envisioned as a landmark representing Korean football, dedicated to player development, coach and referee training, and various other football-related activities.

"The football complex is where we will lay the foundation for the future of Korean football, and therefore, it requires the attention and effort of all of us," stated President Chung. "I will meticulously oversee the project to ensure it becomes a facility where many people can enjoy the value of football."

Cheonan Mayor Park Sang-don also expressed, "It will become a complex cultural space centered on football. Cheonan City will also do its utmost to ensure that the remaining projects proceed without any disruptions."
