CHEONAN — Marking its 20th anniversary, Hanchang EGM, alongside local enterprises and organizations, has joined hands with the Cheonan Welfare Foundation to host a large-scale winter kimchi-sharing event.

On October 30, the Cheonan Welfare Foundation announced that it successfully hosted the "Love Kimjang Sharing Event" to support local vulnerable populations. The initiative was designed to express gratitude to the local community for its steadfast support over the past two decades and to provide essential winter food supplies to neighbors in need.

A total of 45 million won was raised through joint contributions from multiple organizations:

*Hanchang EGM: 20 million won
*Dream Fishing: 10 million won
*Hanchang MS: 5 million won
*Gugong: 5 million won
*Dankook University Hospital Danwoo Sponsorship Association: 5 million won

With these funds, 10 tons of kimjang (winter kimchi) were prepared and distributed to 1,250 vulnerable individuals, ensuring a stable and nourishing food supply for the winter season.

Significantly, Hanchang EGM used this milestone to join the Chungnam Community Chest of Korea’s "Honors Club" (Nanum Myeongmun Gieop), signaling its commitment to moving beyond one-time donations toward sustainable, long-term corporate social responsibility. Employees from the foundation also volunteered at the event, reinforcing the shared value of community and corporate partnership.

"Hanchang EGM’s growth over the past 20 years has been made possible by the unwavering interest and support of our local community," a representative from Hanchang EGM stated. "It is deeply meaningful to give back that love as we celebrate our 20th anniversary."

Park Choong-hyun, Chairman of the Cheonan Welfare Foundation, expressed his gratitude, saying, "I hope this winter kimchi distribution fills our neighbors' tables and helps them weather the cold season securely. We will continue to build a robust welfare support system that turns precious local sharing into practical help for those who need it most."

Cheonan Mayor Chang Ki-soo added, "I extend my deepest gratitude to Hanchang EGM for celebrating their 20th anniversary by giving back to the community and practicing neighborly love. We will continue to work toward a warm local community where no one is left out in the cold."
