ASUNCION, Paraguay – Servicios Médicos Migone (SMM), a leading healthcare service provider in Paraguay, and Farmacenter, a nationwide pharmacy chain, officially announced their strategic alliance at a press conference held today at Farmacenter Park. This agreement reaffirms both companies' shared goal of contributing to the improvement of public health and access to medical care by providing exclusive benefits to SMM subscribers.

Building a Partnership for Health Promotion

During the signing ceremony, attended by high-ranking officials from both companies, SMM and Farmacenter emphasized the various benefits this partnership will bring to their customers. Specifically, SMM subscribers will receive special discounted prices on both domestic and imported medicines when purchasing them at over 200 Farmacenter branches across Paraguay. This is expected to provide practical assistance to patients who face financial burdens due to expensive medications.

Furthermore, discounts will apply not only to medicines but also to a wide range of beauty and personal care products, including perfumes and toiletries, enhancing convenience for subscribers. These benefits are applicable to all payment methods, including cash and card, and subscribers can receive an immediate discount simply by presenting their SMM subscriber card at the time of purchase.

Expanding Healthcare Access and Increasing Customer Value

This alliance goes beyond price discounts, embodying both companies' deep commitment to significantly improving healthcare access for the people of Paraguay. SMM has long contributed to public health by providing quality medical services, and Farmacenter has conveniently supplied medicines and health-related products through its nationwide distribution network. The collaboration between these two major enterprises will create synergy, enabling them to offer more comprehensive health solutions to customers.

Paraguay still often faces challenges such as insufficient medical infrastructure and the burden of high medication prices. In this context, the new alliance between SMM and Farmacenter will be a significant turning point, helping citizens more easily purchase necessary medicines and access health management products at reasonable prices. Particularly, the fact that SMM subscribers can enjoy consistent benefits nationwide is expected to positively impact reducing disparities in healthcare services between regions.

Sustainable Partnership and Future Outlook

Both companies stated that this alliance will evolve into a long-term and sustainable partnership beyond short-term cooperation. Farmacenter is also considering leveraging its extensive distribution network and customer data to provide optimized, personalized health information to SMM subscribers. For example, they could enhance personalized services by offering relevant medication discount information or health management tips to subscribers with specific diseases.

Additionally, SMM expects this alliance to increase customer satisfaction by providing a broader range of benefits to its subscribers and positively impact attracting new subscribers. Both companies plan to hold regular discussions in the future to offer more benefits to subscribers and develop various programs to contribute to the health promotion of the Paraguayan people.

More detailed information about the Migone-Farmacenter alliance and its benefits can be found on the official SMM website: https://www.smm.com.py/beneficios. Both companies anticipate that this collaboration will inject new vitality into the Paraguayan healthcare service market and significantly contribute to improving public health.
