SEOUL – Actress Park Ha-sun has become the talk of the town, earning the title of a lottery “Midas Touch” or “Golden Hand” after one of her managers won the third-place prize in the national lottery immediately following her on-air appearance as a special guest. The unexpected win has sparked buzz about the star's lucky aura and added a playful, charismatic twist to her recent public service activities.

The Power of the Golden Hand

Park Ha-sun, who recently served as a goodwill ambassador for the lottery and the head of the Happiness Sharing Volunteer Group, took to her personal social media account on November 30th to share the exciting news. Alongside a photo of herself posing confidently in a pink two-piece outfit and distinctive gold gloves—a costume from her broadcast appearance—she excitedly declared: “This week’s lottery Golden Hand is me, me!”

The actress revealed the surprising turn of events: “Everyone, I think I really am the Golden Hand. One of our company managers bought a ticket right after I appeared on the show yesterday and won the third prize!”

The win, an amount reportedly around 1 million Korean Won (approximately $760 USD), was a significant event in Park’s circle. She expressed her astonishment, stating, “This is the first time I’ve seen 1 million won. This is the highest amount won around me since I won about 100,000 won on an instant scratch-off ticket when I was young.”

Viral Manager-Star Exchange

To prove the unbelievable story, Park Ha-sun shared a screenshot of her message exchange with the lucky manager. The manager’s message was full of excitement: “I won the third prize. As expected, it’s the power of the actress’s energy!” Park Ha-sun responded with genuine enthusiasm, conveying her congratulations while light-heartedly lamenting, “I should have bought one too. Congratulations!”

The exchange quickly went viral, cementing Park’s status as a good luck charm. Fans and the media alike have been captivated by the seemingly miraculous timing of the win, which occurred right after her role as the celebrity “Golden Hand” guest on the MBC show ‘Live Happy Dream Lotto 6/45’ on November 29th.

A Focus on Philanthropy

Despite the personal excitement over her manager’s win, Park Ha-sun used her platform to bring attention back to the lottery’s philanthropic mission. She added a thoughtful and grounded message for those who weren't as lucky: “Don’t be too disappointed if you didn’t win. 40% of the lottery tickets we buy are donated and used for good causes for neighbors in need.”

Park’s recent appointment as a lottery goodwill ambassador and her leadership role in the volunteer group underscores her commitment to social contribution. This third-prize anecdote not only provides a moment of viral entertainment but also adds a layer of genuine, accessible charisma to her public profile, suggesting that her positive influence extends beyond the screen and into the realm of real-life fortune. The celebrity's newfound reputation as a bringer of luck is sure to follow her, making her next public appearance even more anticipated.
